Melasma, often referred to as the “pregnancy mask,” is usually symmetrical and appears on the skin longer that 18 months.

This pigmentation disorder has a profound effect on quality of life. NeoElite Laser allows our clients of all skin types and all skin tones to clear their melasma and hyperpigmentation. Melasma typically requires a complex treatment program to achieve results and prevent recurrence. With the Aerolase NeoElite Laser our clients achieve great improvement with safe, effective, and tolerable treatments .

The NeoElite 650-microsecond laser energy is delivered into the dermis and epidermis . Melanic deposits are broken and inflammation is decreased. Treatment is highly tolerable, quick and can be combined with a chemical peel for an accelerated clearance of their condition.

First, the NeoElite helps to break up epidermal and dermal pigment. Then, the peel may be applied to speed up the cellular turnover of the epidermis.

Aerolase NeoElite melasma treatments typically take 15-50 minutes. The treatments are safe, effective, and tolerable for ALL skin types and ALL skin photo types. Treatment can be performed without any skin cooling or anesthetic. There is no recovery time afterward. Client may feel a little tenderness right after treatment, but it passes quickly.

Visible results appear almost immediately after your first treatment. It takes around four to six treatments to see full results when treating melasma. After final treatment the client may only need to come in for a few touch-ups. Home care of medical skincare products are recommended to the client.
