Micro-Needling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that is safe and effective at treating the skin via collagen production.
Micro-Needling Collagen Induction Therapy is clinically proven and is perhaps the most successful treatment available for the common signs and symptoms of aging such as wrinkles, loss of skin volume and crepey skin. The Micro-Needling treatment even targets the epidermis in such a way that it is clinically proven to minimize scars and wrinkles as well as stretch marks.
Micro-Needling achieves strong results by encouraging skin to produce more collagen. At Luxe Beauty and Wellness Spa we use the Gold Standard eDermaStamp that is Health Canada Approved Micro-Needling device that encourages the skin to produce more collagen. The small pinpricks from Micro-Needling causes a slight injury to the skin that your body responds by producing new collagen-rich tissue. The new tissue is more even in tone and texture minimizing wrinkles, reducing scar tissue and making the skin firmer as well.
The procedure takes approximately an hour to complete.
Initially a topical anesthetic is used on the skin to reduce the chances of pain. After the application of anesthetic, Micro-Needling Collagen Induction Therapy can begin. Sterile pure hyaluronic acid mask is applied after Micro-Needling. Following treatment Micro-Needling will cause some reddening of the skin that slowly fades back to normal often within 24 hours.
